ADVANCED SL COMPOSITE
Frame construction begins with professional-grade raw carbon woven in our composite factory using the most advanced engineering and construction methods. Continuous Fiber Technology adds strength and minimizes weight.
ONE-PIECE MOLD
This new construction technique uses a single bladder (as opposed to previous generation’s three bladders) to create a one-piece front triangle. The result is reduced weight without compromising stiffness or aerodynamic shaping.
TRUNCATED ELLIPSE TUBING
Strategically engineered airfoil sections in the frame and fork, developed through CFD and wind-tunnel testing, improve aerodynamic efficiency, reducing wind drag at a wide range of yaw angles compared to traditional teardrop shaped tubes.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Frame, handlebar, and stem feature unique cable porting, offering a sleek, non-cluttered appearance while maintaining the ease of adjustment.
FULL COMPOSITE FORK
Advanced SL-grade composite fork features a symmetric design and aero shaping, along with disc brake integration and increased clearance for tires up to 33mm. This new design makes it lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic.
AERODYNAMIC HANDLEBAR AND STEM
Lightweight handlebar and stem feature aero shaping including flat handlebar tops with raised edges to help riders maintain a stable aero position. Internal cable routing further improves aerodynamics while maintaining ease of setup and adjustment.
OVERDRIVE AERO
The D-shaped fork steerer tube and corresponding spacers provide an extremely aerodynamic, easy-to-service system of internally routed brake and derailleur cables.
INTEGRATED SEATPOST
Specifically engineered for competitive road racers, Variant’s refined shape and integrated design reduces weight, improves aero performance, and adds road-smoothing compliance.
MEGADRIVE
An oversized down tube and top tube provide superior front end lateral and torsional stiffness. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped down tube yields unprecedented steering precision and pedaling performance.
POWERCORE
The oversized bottom bracket area features a fully integrated 86mm wide design. Symmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
TUBELESS WHEELSYSTEM
Engineered with proprietary Dynamic Balanced Lacing and composite spokes, this tubeless ready composite WheelSystem delivers superior efficiency, comfort, and control in the most user-friendly system.

When introduced by Giant in 1990s, Compact Road revolutionized the look and feel of high-performance road bikes forever. A downward sloping toptube (from the headtube to the seattube) creates smaller front and rear triangles for a lighter, stiffer bike.
